Last month I took my Chanel and Harry to my vet for pre breeding tests, and my vet told me that the Brucellosis test is no longer required in the pre breeding test unless is a confirmed case around,since brucellosis is an un common disease. I insisted and he did it on them but have any other breeder heard that from their Vet? he knows better than to argue with me when I want something done..
he is my son's boss after all and basically knows that I win most of the time..
but that caught me by surprise, we also did a liver shunt test just for my peace of mind, even tho Chanel is a silkie terrier and not a yorkie. Harry boy went thru the same battery so I know they are both healthy and hopefully we will have GORGEOUS babies in a couple of months..
