sorry to hear that and glad to see she's doing better; this happened twice to my dog and i had to take her to the ER once last september and this august; they did xrays and ultrasound; found blood in the digestive track but no objects; so no need for invasive surgery; they ruled it out as Hemoraging gastritis; could be due to something she ate, that upset her stomach; or even too much salt can cause this (i was giving her some turkey deli slices; which are high in sodium)
after that she was on sticked diet; chicken and rice for a while; then i switch her to the honest kitchen force formula; and so far so good.
