Has the boy been neutered and the girl spayed. Most every time you have a male in the house with other dogs, especially female, he will mark. I've never known anyone who could break a male from doing this. I know you have a big heart and want to give those babies the best home ever, but a belly band is only like a band-aid. I'm going out on a limb here and hopefully don't get anyone offended, but before the boy got too comfortable in my home, I think I would try and find a person who doesn't have another dog, that would give him a great home. Try a senior citizen who is still energetic and would talk him for long walks a couple times a day and so on. In the event you try to keep him I wish you nothing but good luck. |
