Many years ago, when I got my first Yorkie, I was married. I wanted a small dog in the house. We had no children and I spent alot of time alone. A lady I knew had a liter of Yorkies born, and she mentioned them to me. I asked Mr. if I could get a Yorkie puppy and he was not too excited about that. I let it drop. When the puppies got old enough to sell, the lady called me and asked if I wanted one of the puppies. I called Mr. at work, told him the puppies were being sold, and "do you want me to get one". LOL He said yes. This way, the final decison was on him, and he could not throw it back at me down the road. So, I bought the dog, took him home, he was about a pound and a half in weight. I put the puppy down on the living room floor and he went toddling over to Mr. Mr. said, "you mean I paid THAT for THAT?!" It was so funny, and we had a wonderful Yorkie for 14 1/2 years. |
