she's at that age where her adult coat might be growing into her puppy coat. this is a major matting time. make sure you are using a metal comb to brush through her coat down to the skin to assure there are no mats left in once your finished brushing. I use Chris Christensen Ice on Ice as a detangler and leave in conditioner. It works great.
