It sounds like luxating patella [LP]. My Calleigh has it in both legs. I was told by her vet this week that her right leg is out and doesn't go back. She looks normal and never straightens her legs at all. I'm going to take her to an Orthopedic Surgeon for a second opinion. My vet said she didn't need surgery. I'm very confused with his diagnosis though. I want to do what is best for her. Hopefully she won't need surgery, but at least I'll know for sure. You can Google luxating patella in dogs.
