It is funny how things go. We just found out that the couple we got Coco from, had another litter 4 months ago. There was 1 pup left that nobody seemed to want. They only live 10 minutes away.
I wasnt sure if Linda was ready for another dog BUT I had to do something about the loss I was feeling! We met Niki and Linda fell in Love with him immediatly. He is nothing like Coco and I wouldnt want him to be but there is a hint of smile and manner that I find comforting. As a mtter of fact he is a bit of a pudgy guy but that just makes him more cuddly.
It is true you knoe the more love you give the more you get back. And dogs give it unconditionaly
He wont replace Coco and I still ache but I do feel better. As it turned out this is exactly what Linda needed as well. Tiffany showed an immediate improvement. Maybe because he is still a pup but they are even curling up together. She even played a bit. I think it is because she was feeling the loss as well and this is helping her to cope as well |
