This is very true. Be sure you buy from a reputable breeder. Keep in mind that yorkies require a great deal of grooming, and a super premuium dog food . A yorkie does not eat too much, and a very high quality food will keep your little dog healthy. If they are well cared for from the begginning, a yorkie , is generally a healthy breed.
My Suzi is very, very active! She loves everybody too, and her favorite thing is to kiss people. I also brought in anther little dog for Suzi to have a friend, I am glad I did!
I have heard Goldens are gentle and make wonderful family pets. Yorkies are not well suited for families who have very young children , because of their frail size , and delicate body structure . just something to keep in mind .
