Yep..Riley is the same way..Im so glad I read this!I always thought he was scared or skittish or something.Im glad to see its must be a yorkie thing..He loves to sit with us and be petted, but when I pick him up he gets all stiff, and wants right DOWN!. at bed time he will jump up on the bed with us once in awhile. but most of the time he will go lay under the bed,. they are funny, thats for sure..lol
