How old is he?
Have you tought him the drop it and leave it commands?
The only way you can successfully train him to leave the toys alone is if you first teach him those two commands.
Once he knows those commands you can then say to him "drop it" or "leave it" when he has the babys toys. If he listens to you make sure he is given a treat with either food or you playing with him and one of his toys as reward.
It is relatively easy to teach the dropt it and leave it commands but it takes patience so don't get frustrated if he doesn't get it right away. |
