I just have to add that those rating sites oversimplify the matter. Remember, only one person critiques the foods, and they have no special training in nutrition. The results are spread so many times, that people tend to think that it is the truth. I'm not saying that these rating sites are completely worthless, but it's only one factor in choosing a good food, so take the ratings with a grain of salt. I believe that this site gives excellent information on how you can choose a good food, and the author has great credentials. The Dog Food Project - Identifying better products
