Hi everyone; I am new to Yorkietalk, however I have been reading so many posts since I got Chloe 2 months ago; the info here has been very helpful, that I finally took the time to become a member too!!.

Now I am facing my first big thing with Chloe which is Spaying her. After much consideration, I decided to take the plunge and listen to my vet about spaying her now that she's 5 months old before her first heat; however, I am nervous about the whole procedure, and because she's so small (2.8lbs) it scares me some.

I just wanted to ask for your experiences with this procedure, and any suggestions/advice in helping me make it through it, as well as how to help her in recuperating properly once she's done with it.
