therapy dogs Dose anyone have their Yorkie trained as a therapy dog? I took Gatsby to visit my grandmother in her nursing home and he was so great! All the residents loved him. I talked to a nurse and she told me he was better behaved with the residents then some of the trained dogs they get in, He is very laid-back and quiet he is only five pounds so the residents like to hold him in their laps and to be honest I loved seeing the smiles on their faces one woman begged me to come back so she could see him again I am sure Gatsby loved it too when we were in the building he was as calm as could be. When we went back today he was so excited he pulled me to the doors, but he was not allowed in because they had a resident death just before that and it's some kind of policy, but what I really wanted to know is does anyone know what you have to do to be certified the nurse told me to look into Delta, but I wanted to ask hear first in case there was a better or easier way I heard it's very complicated and the process has to renewed every year class and all anyone have any advice.
