Oh Uni does this too, except she also SCREAMS AT THE TOP OF HER LUNGS! It's so embarrassing! She pulls in her harness, walks/hops on her back feet to try to get into Petco or wherever faster. We got her a new harness that is a "no pull". It's not quite no pull for her, it's more like a "pull less". At least all four feet are on the ground now, but she still yelps!
I think it is just their personality. She wants to be acknowledged by everyone of how cute she is LOL.
