When I got Harley I started him out on royal cainin.. after tons and tons of research..lol.. And found that it was supposed to be the best.. But it has corn in it and man did it make my baby itch like crazy! So I searched again and found canidae and haven't looked back since. All his bowel movements are healthy and consistent. I guess everybody has to go with what works best for their dog. You have to remember that just like us, each dog is different and their bodies may not be able to tolerate certain ingredients in foods. Others are more sensitive than others etc. As far as Iams goes.. I wouldn't care if it was the very best and healthies dog food available on the market and only cost a nickel I would NEVER buy it because of the HORRIBLE testing they do on dogs/cats.
They are DISGUSTING! And the truth about the way the do things over at the Iams company should be made public knowledge bc so many people buy it bc they are uneducated.
