just work with him if you have another dog walk them together if not i say let him go his way until he gets use to he leach then start training gatsby would not walk until about 12 weeks but to get him use to the leach i put him on it around the house (watching carefully for snags and getting stuck)and by the time to walk he was okay with the leach whear do live in ohio i live in canton and if your close to thear we can meet up and gatsby can show your baby how to walk his older brother showed him i did very little work
