 Tape worm
Your puppy got a Tape worm because she ate a flea. That released the tape worm into your dogs body. It's a complicated life cycle.
I'm surprised your vet didn't go ahead and pill the pup while you had her in the office. I know you hate to traumatize her but just stick that pill at the very back of her tongue and then close her muzzle fast. Gently stroke her throat until she swallows. |
