My mama hasn't had any milk since five weeks. i weaned the babies and took mama completly away since she had abandoned them anyway. i let them out of the puppy pen during the day at about six weeks until a couple of weeks ago when I put them in with the big dogs only crating them at night. They are twelve weeks old now and every time they are near mama, they run her down and she stands there and lifts her hind leg for a minute or two. i think it is a comfort thing. they soon tire and run away to play. never seen anything like it at twelve weeks. Forgot to add that mama has run of the house and is only in with them about every two days or so. |
