I spend $40-$45 on Maddie's cuts. I have an excellent groomer though so I don't mind. I usually trim her up myself, but each summer we get a shorter cut.

I know some have had good experiences at PetSmart groomers, but ours was HORRIBLE! I still think she was given something. She was very lethargic for a day or two after. I was also chewed out b/c she was considered 'difficult'. She only weighed 5-6 lbs at the time.

I hope you learn do groom yourself or find one you trust.
