I wouldn't either. He will become a marking machine, and completely out of control. He will always have to wear belly bands or he will completely wreck your furniture.
Mr. Big is a retired stud from a breeder, and he has never stopped marking. I got him fixed right away, and it did help a little, but since it was a learned behavior it never completely went away. JMHO.
