My Harry boy had an eye problem last year, after we ruled out food allergies,and all other issues we change to dystille water and a drop of vinegar in his drinking water and nothing,he was still getting some brown boogers every few days and tearing every day,so my regular vet gave him eye drops for 7 days, even after that the problem persisted, he told me to just simply use warm water with a cotton ball every morning, I was still not happy with that, so I contacted a holistic vet, that suggested a product called "calm eyes" is a liquid that you use with a cotton round to clean around the Oustide of the pet's eye, and I am happy to report that Harry's eyes have been clear of boogers and tears since, is been over a year and I love it, I now use the product on all my dogs..if you do a search you will find all the post about a year ago when we were talking about it..
