I like the idea of the playpen while he is still a pup! Actually my breeder have them in a playpen also!
But a lil confused!
I left a crate w/ the breeder so she can start to crate train him before he gets home but I don't think a crate would fit in a playpen.
I could take him out but then put him in the playpen where his potty pad is to go potty???
Or just let him sleep without a crate in the playpen with his bed,toys,potty pad and food?

Congrats on your baby!! I learned from experience not to put the crate in the pen. It takes up space and they quickly learn to climb on it and try to jump out, not to mention chew it to pieces. I used the crate at first to train him until I knew for sure he wouldn't use his pen and then I got rid of the crate after a couple weeks and just used the pen for crate training. He loves his area with all his stuff. I wish it had a door though because when he wants to get in he has to scratch it so I can put him inside.
