I feel absolutely sick over the deaths and devestation caused by the rain. The amount of rain we have had is unbelieveable - it has been many years since we have had heavy rain. I will keep the families that have lost loved ones in my thoughts and prayers.
I live in Rome, we must be north of the worst weather. We have had torrential downpours and some flooding, but nothing like you have reported that Atlanta has had.
On a lighter note - the sun was out for about 7 1/2 minutes earlier. Maybe that is a foreshadow of better weather.
