I was given my first yorkie after the death of our 13 yr old family dog. Our sister in law gave us a cute adorable AKC regerable puppy with papers in puppy pack. He's now two and is 15 lbs. with long hanging ears. Dont get me wrong we love him and he had a hip surgery and he is doing well, but I see my sister inlaw with all of her cute smaller dogs and I want a girl this time, for me, my dog. I bought a cute puppy she is small compact, has up ears but she is APRI reg. I was told she is very rare, now I find out she is not an excepted color for AKC is all brown and has a pinkish or brown not black nose, her litter mates were black and tan, dooped again...What to do, can she be registered with AKC. she is 13 wks and weighs 2lb 6oz. is she going to be bigger too... I fear i will never get the yorkie smarts soon enough... thanks carriekay...
