consider yourself very lucky. my little Chiara did just that a couple of weeks ago. it was a quiet street with only one car coming... we ran, waved, screamed and yelled. Chiara got angry at the car and decided to attack it for some strange reason. my little angel is gone now. I miss her with every breath I take ...words can't describe.
The driver (she lives two doors down the street) had her windows down, heard the screams but didn't stop until it was too late. she admitted that: she heard our screams to stop, she wasn't looking at the road for at least 10 seconds, she knew we had a small dog besides a bigger sheltie, but she decided all was safe and continued driving....
