I would keep them in oil and when you need to start wrapping just the back/front legs where the hair usually touches the ground first and then after they adjust, wrap the entire body.
My pup LOVES to backstroke on the carpet (and do the down and back on textured walls) so I HAVE to keep a jacket on him 24/7.
Pam, for the face it might be helpful if you start by loosely banding the mustache to get him used to something being on his face and then after about a month switch to paper wraps. |
Thanks, I'll try that. I have put his mustache in bands but it didn't last 3 minutes and the little stinker had them out. I'll keep trying...maybe he will get use to it....
