I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I hope everything works out and you are able to keep the other three.
If not I would lie and say I gave another one away and only take one to two out a time, never all three again. Be sneaky and beat the noisy neighbors. How rude of people to put their nose in your business anyway. My motto is "if it's not hurting me or anybody else keep it to yourself".
Hope you get to see your baby boy soon, I'm glad to hear he doing okay.
