A few negatives I've heard over the years about Evo.....
Very high in protein which may or may not be appropriate in toy breed dogs. Make sure your Yorkie has a bile acids test to rule out any liver disease before feeding Evo or any other high protein dog food.
Higher in fat than many of the other high protein foods. I have heard of cases where dogs developed high cholesterol/high triglycerides on this food.
You really have to watch the portions with Evo as it can pack on the pounds quickly. Most of us who have fed Evo use less than the package recommends. |
