Diamond manufactures for a lot of pet food companies. Diamond admitted to the author of these articles that they do use ethoxyquin as a preservative . The ingredient is put on by the fish meal supplier before it goes to the pet food processor. IF a pet food manufacturer want to hide the fact that it's in their food they will state that they don't use it, because THEY didn't put it in there....A little white lie I guess......

I find it hard to believe that Chicken Soup would be the only food not using this when all the ones on this list are also manufactured by Diamond and they do have it in them.... If I'm not mistaken it was Diamond that had the issues with melamine a while back.......Doesn't look like a company that can be trusted making pet food.....
