I know some have , silky coats some have cottny coats ( like my puppy) and some have a mixture , I guess thats what it is called.... but all new puppies have that dark black thick fluffy coat, isnt it just too cute!! Are you sure its your puppy and not seasonal allergies? My daughter has severe allergies she is on 4 different medications, she has no reaction to either of the yorkie coats..my friend does rescue and has several dogs (yorkies) with various coats none seem to bother her at all!! Maybe because his coat is long and fluffy he is bringing in pollen or something from outside.. I use baby wipes to wipe off my puppies feet when she comes in.. I also juts give her a quick wipe down all over to make sure no leaves or dirt is on her.. ( takes less then 30 seconds). I hope this helps!!
