I thought pancreatitis was more from high fat not protein. Human foods such as fried chicken, pork, and fatty beef, as well as lunchmeats may cause an acute attack of pancreatitis. Chronic pancreatitis can just be hereditary. A dog that has suffered from pancreatitis might not do well on raw, but I haven't read that raw eaters are more likely to get it. I don't really know though.
