What a great story about the yorkie.......I'm not sure I could train Max to dial 911 but I know he recognized when I needed help. His entire posture, manner and behaviour changed as my needs were evident. He was wonderful.
Thanks to all who inquired about my health.
Short history for those who have asked:
My career as a RN was spent in specialty units, eg ICU and ER......sometime during those years, I believe that a needle stick contaminated, with a virus, infected me and damaged my liver. I did not respond to the cutting edge treatment and it made me even sicker. I am now relying on natural products to keep me going until a drug comes out that will kill or reduce the amount of virus in my bloodstream. I am a positive person and try to enjoy each day with my husband, family and friends. I feel well enough to have a fairly good quality of life and I am doing OK. Thanks for asking.
Max is one of the reasons for getting going each day!!
