Check out Pet adoption: Want a dog or cat? Adopt a pet on Petfinder and put in your zip code. But please be very careful that you are connecting with a legitimate rescue. Puppy millers sometime try to get rid of their doggies on Petfinder. Make sure that the doggie you are interested in has been spayed/neutered and has been given shots. If not, run the other way. ~Joanne~
