I just did a little research to see if I could find something that may help you. After reading that someone mentioned a Maltese doing it also, I think I MAY know what it is. It is called "White Shaker Dog Syndrome". Mostly white dogs, such as Maltese or Westies get it. However, Yorkshire Terriers can get it also. Watch for your dog's eyes to dart around. It also mentioned that the dog will not shake when totally calm and sleeping. It says that dogs develop it very quickly from ages 6 months to 3 years. It doesn't hurt the dog in any way and there is treatment for it. Hope this helps. I'd suggest going online and typng in the syndrome to learn more about it and see if that is what you think your Yorkie has. Good luck.
