I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for good sources for bows on barrettes. I bought some on-line and they fell apart within a week (and Sophie doesn't even try to get her bows out). I tried making some... um, let's just say that was NOT pretty!

Sophie always has a small dark brown rubber band (the kind used to secure cornrows and tiny human braids) in her hair, but I'd like to be able to swap out bows easily with a barrette. Has any found some great bows like that? Also, how long do you leave your babies top knot rubber band in? Do you take it out every night?

Thanks for any tips! Sophie is my first Yorkie baby. Before her, I had BIG dogs-- an Afghan hound and an Akita... and they did NOT go for bows in their hair.
