I also have a dog with allergies. I am going the holistic way of treatment. I have been cleaning her ears with diluted vinegar and water. (Cleans & dries out the ear better than OTC ear cleaners). I treat with Zymox ear cleaner, Zymox medicine and shampoo, which can be purchased online. I also read that if it is a yeast infection, you should give Vitamin C and there is a product called Pau d'arco (Pow darko) which is a herb useful in treating yeast infections. I have just ordered the pau d'arco and will post back with results. I also have my dogs on Ziwipeak dog food. It is expensive, but very healthy and my dogs LOVE it!!! Overall, she has improved dramatically since I first got her a year and a half ago.
