He uses the Potty Patch for urine while I am at work and he is confined to a small part of the laundry room, but he never goes in there if he is not gated inside - he just uses the rugs or floor. His favorate spot is the stairs. I have cleaned my carpet more times then I can count.

Does anyone have any suggestions for duel training. Should I have several grass pans in the house? I have brought him to the fax grass when I know he has to go out but he runs right off - then I take him outside and he goes. I know he hates the cold and wet - he stands there and cries and shivers. HOW DO I GET HIM TO USE THE GRASS MAT AND GET HIM TO REALIZE HE HAS TO GO AND GO FIND HIS MAT TO PEE OR POOP?

Thanks.
I have been thinking about getting the Backyard Buddy, or something similar, and have wondered how well the dogs do with them.

I think I would place it by the door that they are used to going out.
