Probably staph intermedius - this is usually treated w/ 1 month of Simplicef once-a-day pills.

But, you also need to discuss why this infection occurred - if this is from the itching caused by allergies - then you need to address the allergies.

Food allergies are not common, enviro allergies very common. How you treat them depends on which allergy...
