Here's the situation...

You've adopted a 12 week old Yorkie pup. You spend a weekend with him to get him to learn what it will be like to live with you in your home. You take a few days off from work when you get him as well to get him used to you and your his new surroundings.

It's time for you to go back to work, leaving your new baby at home... You cannot come home from work during the day and you will be there from 7:30 to about 6 PM. There is someone who can check up on him, make sure he eats, pees, etc.

Where should he be kept during the day? A crate? An X-Pen? What are your thoughts and experiences?
