I've had the same problem with Oscar. He wasn't eating any dog food I would give him. He LOVED boiled chicken and white rice. I would shred the chicken in a food processor so it was easy to eat. It turns out that he has an allergy to chicken though so I know have him on Natural Balance duck and potato dry food whth some of the NB canned food mixed in. He loves it. I find that the canned food seems to make it more appetizing for him, so I mix the two. I try to feed him when we aren't eating because he will be more interested in our food than his even though we don't give him any of ours he'll stand there waiting. So if there is no human food around he'll eat his own food. Hope this helps.
