Thanks everyone - I thought of the treat idea and will have him try that - Last night he picked up my male and she jumped on his lap and started kissing him so who knows - maybe she wanted to protect the male???
The sharing thing involves mostly the male not wanting her to have any of his toys. But sometimes she will grab what he has just to tease him. But sometimes they get into a really heated argument that I have to break up.
Her previous owner kept her penned for 10 hours or so while she worked - she didn't have any other companions either. Not sure about the male involvement I know there was a boyfriend there??? I think it is probably a matter of both of them getting used to having a companion too as they were both alone before. My male got LOTS of attention but he is just a sweetie and loves everyone.
