It is a common porblem with dogs that are trained with treats if they are not used right.
Everyone starts one treat one rick and if stays that way.
What needs to happen is right after the skill is learned the treats need to become random.
So now it should be one treat for two then one for three and one for one in random pattern.
Also the demands ignore them. Also put everything on nothing in life is free if he wants something we has to do anything. SO he wants a pat he sits.
He wants supper he downs.
He earns everything.
What hs happened is that the treat is now a bribe not a pay cheque.
