Believe me. This IS periodontal disease! No question!
Actually my other dog has been through the whole business with periodontal disease at the University of Minnesota when she was quite young so I'm pretty familiar with it and it's effects. It's just this dog's extenuating circumstances that worry me.
However, as of today her blood panel and everything came back within the normal range, so I feel a bit better about submitting her to surgery.
