What do you mean by issues? Explain exactly what happens.
Do you know what kind of rescue situation she came out of? Could she have been abused by a man? Maybe she has never been around many men and she is scared..but this is an easy fix. Have your husband when he comes home from work always have a treat in his hand so she thinks... ah nice man gives me treats. He might not be so up for this at night
but maybe you could keep a few treats by the side of the bed.
