I recently got a 6 month old puppy from my aunt and uncle and I can't tell if he's a Yorkie or a Silky. My aunt said he's a Yorkie, but she got him from one of her cousins that bred two said "Yorkies".
He has a white patch on his head and he's still slightly black with some light gray on his back, and his mustache, beard and legs are golden tan. He has a sort of long tail, and he's about 9" high from foot to shoulder and 10" long from shoulder to rump. When he gets wet, though, his face is very pointed without the volume of his circular hair cut. Does he sound more like a Yorkie or a Silky? And also, he still has soft fur, not silky hair. Though I did read here that it can take a year for their hair to become silky. Thank yooooou
