 update
Pixie is still looking for a new home.
Here is some more info from her owner:
"Pixie born April 7, 2008.* She has been with me since*November 2008. *She weighs 6lbs.* She has lived with a Weimaraner, two cats (who are twice her size) and three young children and she gets along with all of them (except one of the cats, Paisley.*They get snippy with each other sometimes).* Pixie is very attached to me and feels a need to protect me by going bananas if someone enters a room when we are together, but she doesn't bite.* She steals my dirty clothes from the bathroom floor or hamper and takes them to her kennel or just to the couch to snuggle and sleep with them.* She is truly a sweetheart and loves to be craddled in my arms like a baby and she can NOT get enough belly rubs!* Pixie likes her bath and being brushed, but the blow drying is not her favorite.* I have never had her groomed since I've had her so her "hair" is long and flowy.* I just keep her bathed and brushed and she looks great.* I don't have a recent picture of her uploaded on my computer, but I will send a few that I do have.*I have to find a new home for Pixie because I am recently separated from my husband of 14 years and I'm having a very hard time finding a living arrangement that is dog friendly and affordable all at the same time, in addition to the fact that I have had to start working more hours now that I am on my own and she isn't getting nearly the attention she is used to.* Because she's had less attention since we've been here in Madison, Pixie has regressed in her house training.* If you keep her on a good potty schedule she does fine, but she doesn't go to the door to be let out, so if your not paying attention, she will go potty in the house.*" |
