We have given Sophie the Puppy Kong and she mostly licks and nibbles at it. Once the goodie inside is gone she leaves it alone. When we had Hazel though she would completely chew up absolutely anything we gave her. Even the
really tough toys. I think it depends on what kind of chewer you have. It's a good heads up to not leave your babies with anything they might be able to destroy and swallow.
