Yeah, I remember them shuffling me out the door very quickly, too. I'd had my tubes tied exactly two weeks before, and apparently, I kept saying "I want to go home" while I was coming out of anesthesia, so they let me leave before I was really awake. I woke up as I was being helped into the car.
So I told my sister, who was my caregiver, not to listen to me if I did the same thing after my second surgery. I did, but they didn't let me go until I was fully awake.
I am so happy that your surgery went well, and you have a wonderful hubby to see to your needs. Get well quickly, so you can enjoy Hawaii a little more before you have to go back home.
