The crying and whining is what Sedrick did alot of for the 1st maybe 2 weeks and yes it is because he is very stressed, don't forget how active Skeeter was before the trauma. What I found best was to hold him and walk the floor like youwould a baby and he will eventually calm down. He just needs to know that you are there.
The stomach is probably a result of not eating for a few days and this should calm down once is intestines get used to having food in them. Has he had a bowl movment since surgery?
The nose/throat is he snorting liquid out his nostrils? Our vet said this was the result of having the tubes stuck down and should stop in a few days. Keep on eye on though incase it becomes worse as it might have potential to turn into a pnuemonal like problem.
Be rest assured that even though you are frustated it is all downhill from here. The tiny little improvements you will start to see will far outweigh your feelings of despair.
