I give Bailey the 6" bully sticks. She loves them and eats them really fast - so I hold them for her and allow her to eat only eat 25% of it at a time - she gets three "bites at the apple" a week - then I toss the stub.
She's never been aggressive towards me about them - they're just very special to her.
